Gartner recently reported that the nokia smartphone market is still the number one in the second quarter (Q2) this. While the Android OS market increasingly established that he was at the top.

Android OS on the market increasingly triumphant from symbian with 2X market of Symbian market (though still superior to symbian total number of users) in the second quarter of this year.

But the surprise, for smartphone manufacturers, Nokia is still the highest at this time with a slim margin. This is certainly unexpected that estimates the transition from nokia symbian to windows phone will make them lose the first position in Q2.
